Erich is the owner and designer of 12 to 3.  Though he started by making posters and cards for his friends and family, he soon began to get actual real work, much to his surprise and delight.

Not a motivated student in high school, Erich found graphic design almost entirely on accident.   Finding motivation from a string of very menial jobs, he set off to Marist College with new found enthusiasm, which quickly withered and died upon reading the course requirements for every major.  After giving up all hope, he came across the supplementary handout containing the new majors that had not been added to the main course catalog.  It was there that he found his salvation: DIGITAL MEDIA.  It was in those four years studying lines and finger painting that he fell in love with art in all its forms.  And though he was fairly horrible with a paintbrush, he discovered that he was incredible with the mouse. 
 

After four years of undergraduate work, he graduated magna cum laude, and with the ink still wet on his diploma, set off for Boston to begin his graduate work in studio art, at Brandeis University.  Though he learned many many wonderful and amazing things about studying, analyzing, and making art in his time at Brandeis, the one thing that he truly took to heart, was that studio art was not for him.  He also took away the idea that studio art, art history, and critical thinking are all things that could inform and improve his digital catalog. 
 

Fast forward to the present; Erich is happily married with a son, but decides he is getting far too much sleep.  12 to 3 Creative is born and all feels right in the world.​
